BMW Inks 6-Year Sponsorship deal with the Olympics

To the tune of 24 million dollars BMW has just made a massive marketing move as they become the “official car” of the US Olympic team for the next 6-years. This was first reported by Examiner.com and they included a great shot of Apolo Ohno at the announcement event.

Apollo was very excited about the move and is looking forward to seeing how BMW can help them prepare for the next Olympics. In the current battle between BMW, Audi, and Mercedes this is an excellent move by BMW. The Olympics is the most-watched global event next to the World Cup and with a 6-year sponsorship I think Bimmer will be in our heads plenty!
